Committee Charge
  1. Work with the Executive Secretary/Treasurer to provide information about NCHC to other organizations and to colleges and universities not presently affiliated with NCHC.
  2. Develop materials, both written, electronic, and audiovisual, to present NCHC to other organizations and institutions as well as to teachers and students.
  3. Identify organizations whose objectives coincide or significantly complement those of NCHC, and establish informal liaisons with them.
  4. Recommend, when warranted, to the Board of Directors the establishment of formal relationships with the most relevant organizations, including organizational membership, exchange of communications and information, and joint projects.
  5. Develop contacts with graduate record agencies as well as grant-giving agencies.
  6. Organize programs at the annual convention with representatives of graduate record organizations and grant giving agencies.
  7. Present a budget in a timely fashion to the Finance Committee or the Conference Program Planner to support the committee activities.
  8. Identify national education issues and provide recommendations to the Board of Directors of actions NCHC ought to take to publicize its position on such issues and enhance its national impact.
  9. Develop occasional national symposia or teleconferences on major issues in post secondary education.
  10. Develop contributions for the NCHC publications focused upon important committee projects.
  11. Report regularly in writing to the Board of Directors.
  12. Work to meet the goals and objectives of NCHC’s Mission Statement.
