Committee Charge
- Oversee the mission, function, and relationships of the Journal of the National Collegiate Honors Council, Honors in Practice, the National Honors Report, the NCHC web site, electronic newsletter, and other periodical and occasional print and electronic publications of NCHC, acting as an advisory board to the editors and authors of these publications.
- Review and evaluate proposals for all NCHC publications for quality, format, quantity, cost effectiveness, and distribution.
- Work with the Executive Director and other NCHC committees to assure the consistency and quality of NCHC's print and electronic materials.
- Compile and maintain an inventory list of NCHC publications. Regularly review the inventory list of NCHC publications. Insure that all NCHC publications maintain appropriate standards of excellence in content, format, and appearance
- Insure that all NCHC print and electronic publications maintain appropriate standards of excellence in content, format, and appearance.
- Assist the editors of NCHC publications in soliciting and encouraging publishable materials.
- Promote use of electronic formats of communication for NCHC by disseminating information on how to access and how to use them.
- Cooperate in developing programs as appropriate at the national conference.
- Report regularly in writing to the Board of Directors.
- Work to meet the goals and objectives of NCHC’s Mission Statement.
