Committe Charge
The Committee on Teaching & Learning shall:
- Plan and lead a variety of sessions and/or specialized workshops on honors teaching and learning at the annual conference.
- Collect and make available to the membership in NCHC scholarly essays, monographs, and other print and electronic materials focused on current research and ideas in curriculum design for academically talented students; learning theories; moral, ethical, and intellectual development; active learning strategies; and other inventive pedagogies important to (and modeled by) honors directors, faculty, and students.
- Contribute material focused on issues of teaching and learning in honors to NCHC periodicals and monograph series, as well as to other professional publications.
- Report regularly in writing to the Board of Directors.
- Work to meet the goals and objectives of NCHC’s Mission Statement.
