Board of Directors
As defined by the current NCHC Constitution & Bylaws Article Four, Section 11. Part C. Vacancies:
In the event of death, incapacity, resignation, or abandonment of office by an At-Large Member of the Board of Directors, the unelected candidate who received the highest number of votes in the most recent election for the Board of Directors and who is willing to serve shall be appointed by the President to fill the unexpired term.
For the 2023 term, Patricia Smith has accepted the appointment to the seat vacated by Darryl Peterkin upon his election to the Vice Presidency. Smith will serve the remaining year of Peterkin's term. She had been part of the 2022 slate of nominees.
