What's New for 2024

Hello and welcome to NCHC24!

As we gear up for the upcoming National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) conference in Kansas City, I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome on behalf of the NCHC President-Elect and this year’s conference chair, Darryl Peterkin.

Under the leadership of the Board of Directors and the diligent work of the Search Committee, the NCHC staff has experienced growth and transformation, culminating in the appointment of our new Executive Director. This positive shift has allowed me to reimagine the conference experience, focusing on enhancing every aspect for our valued attendees.

One of the major changes is a fresh approach to the proposal process, which includes the creation of specific tracks tailored to different attendee types. NCHC is committed to providing a dynamic and enriching experience for all, and to achieve this, we are introducing specialized tracks with programming for faculty, professional staff/advisors, deans/directors, and students.

Moreover, I am excited to share that all NCHC Committee meetings and regional meetings will now have designated space as a standard part of the conference, eliminating the need for a submission process. This ensures an open platform for valuable discussions and collaborations. Additionally, we welcome requests for other meetings or forums to further enrich the conference experience by submitting a simple request form, rather than a full conference proposal.

Your active participation is crucial to the success of this conference, and we encourage you to take advantage of the diverse programming tailored to your role within the honors community.

Thank you for being an integral part of NCHC, and we look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a fantastic and innovative conference in Kansas City.

See you in KC!
