Affiliating yourself with your institution
If you are not the director of your program, or you do not hold a current NCHC Institutional or Professional Membership, and/or have not attended an NCHC program in the past year, you may not be in our new software system yet!
You must sign up as a "Contact" prior to registering for any NCHC program.
Sign up as a Contact!
Be sure to select “Contact” when creating a username for our website. If your institution has an Institutional Membership, signing up as a "Contact" will affiliate you with your institution, and you'll be able to register for the online event, and make use of the NCHC community forums. If you sign up for any membership aside from "Contact," you will be asked to pay for that membership fee.
You'll receive an email notification, and THEN you may start registration for the intended online event.
(If your institution is not a member of NCHC, please proceed as a "Guest.")

The NCHC Diversity & Inclusion Committee launches a quarterly roundtable discussion of diversity, equity, and inclusion within honors education. All are invited to bring their insights and questions to the table. For their initial roundtable discussion, the committee co-chairs explore the following topics and questions: - How has the COVID-19 pandemic impacted our collective efforts to foster diversity and inclusion in honors programs? For instance, has the pandemic made it more difficult to recruit and sustain a diverse core of honors students? Has the reduced use of admissions metrics such as standardized tests created opportunities to look more holistically at honors applications?
- How has the pandemic impacted the way that courses are taught which have a focus on diversity and inclusion, and how has the pandemic has affected discussion methodologies in the classroom, including discussion of diversity and inclusion issues?
- Given that the pandemic has had a disproportionately large impact on underserved communities, are these challenges reflected in the experiences of honors students in our colleges and programs?
- What trends and tensions, potentially, are we seeing across communities on perception of the coronavirus vaccine, as well as access to the vaccine? The co-chairs of the Diversity and Inclusion committee will serve as moderators for this opening panel, and we look forward to discussing these important issues with you as well as planning for future topics and hosts for the NCHC Diversity and Inclusion Roundtable.
