Partners in Peace (PiP)
Partners in Peace (PiP) exists as a collaboration between NCHC and the Nobel Peace Center (NPC), located in Oslo, Norway. Operating within the International Education Committee of NCHC, PiP enables students, faculty and institutions to study and implement practices utilized by Nobel Peace Laureates in their attempts to achieve harmony and collaboration between individuals. Application
NCHC members are invited to apply for PiP designation through two distinctive tracks, curricular and co-curricular. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Apply Curricular Offerings
Receiving designation in the curricular track involves the offering of a course with intentional study of the vision of Alfred Nobel. Such courses would expose students to the diversity of leadership styles and approaches Nobel laureates embraced in their quest to improve the human condition. Courses could also include vetting of future laureates. Learn More Co-Curricular Offerings
Receiving designation in the co-curricular track emphasizes attention on the immediate Nobel Peace Laureate and the work of that individual which garnered international acclaim. Participants within honors would design, implement, and assess an application of the laureate’s work within the context of the campus and/or local community. Learn More Student Testimonials

PiP designation brings international affirmation and an enhanced profile to participating institutions through formal recognition from the Nobel Peace Center, Oslo Norway. Universally celebrated as the world’s most prestigious award, the Nobel Peace Prize represents the selfless determination of laureates who advocate for peaceful global co-existence. Akin to affiliation with such luminaries as Carnegie and Fullbright, institutions recognized by Nobel, can take great pride in their commitment to humanity through the study and practice of celebrated actions towards peace.
