Celebrating 60 YearsThe 60th Anniversary of the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) marks a momentous milestone in the story of honors education. Since 1966, NCHC has served as the leading voice in shaping, strengthening, and expanding honors learning across higher education. This celebration is not only a tribute to the organization’s enduring impact, but also an invitation to reflect on its legacy, amplify its present-day work, and envision the next era of innovation in honors. Throughout this commemorative year, we will celebrate the people, practices, programs, and partnerships that have made NCHC a transformative force in students' lives and academic communities. Topic of the Month: Research in Honors
As part of NCHC’s yearlong 60th Anniversary celebration, we are launching a new monthly series highlighting the pillars that have shaped honors education. Each month will open with a short video, featuring the voices of honors professionals and students. You will then be invited to participate in a monthly activity and/or engage in a discussion on the Member Discussion Forum. Our January focus is Research in Honors—a cornerstone of honors pedagogy, innovation, and student growth.
