Affiliating yourself with your institution
If you are not the director of your program, or you do not hold a current NCHC Institutional or Professional Membership, and/or have not attended an NCHC program in the past year, you may not be in our software system. You must sign up as a "Contact" prior to registering for any NCHC program, using the link below.
Sign up as a Contact
Be sure to select “Contact” when creating a username for our website. If your institution has an Institutional Membership, signing up as a "Contact" will affiliate you with your institution, and you'll be able to register for the online event, and make use of the NCHC community forums. If you sign up for any membership aside from "Contact," you will be asked to pay for that membership fee.
You'll receive an email notification, and THEN you may start registration for the intended online event.
(If your institution is not a member of NCHC, please proceed as a "Guest.")

Overview
This free roundtable presented by NCHC's Major Scholarships committee will provide a virtual space for NCHC members to connect and discuss. Advisers and institutions have struggled to support applicants for international award opportunities for three academic years due to COVID, and scholarship foundations have also had to modify recruitment and administration practices in response to the pandemic. The resumption of study abroad and international fellowship programs against the backdrop of the Russian invasion of Ukraine raises new challenges for campus and external stakeholders. This roundtable will discuss evolving best practices in fellowship and study abroad advising and is designed for advisors, faculty, staff, administrators and anyone involved in student advising. Join us to discuss: - An overview of international fellowship opportunities for undergraduates and graduating seniors
- Understanding international scholarship/fellowship processes
- Supporting students interested in high impact international experiences as we approach our post-COVID “new normal”
- An overview of major competitive scholarships and fellowships
- External funding for study abroad and international exchange
Audience Honors faculty, staff, and directors
