Overview
This free roundtable presented by NCHC's Diversity and Inclusion Committee will provide a virtual space for NCHC members to meet and discuss! The Diversity and Inclusion Roundtables aim to facilitate discussion and open sharing of experiences and observations about justice-focused discourses in the current national climate. Roundtable facilitators will open with a discussion on how their campuses are providing safe spaces for LGBTQ+ students. They will also highlight the challenges that they face. Next, attendees will discuss their experiences supporting LGBTQ+ students. This discussion will allow the pooling of suggestions for the next steps for how NCHC and honors Programs and colleges can meet the needs of LGBTQ+ students.
