NCHC - Partners in Peace - Oslo Peace Congress

Join international peacebuilders at the 2026 Oslo Peace Congress—a unique opportunity to engage with and learn from global leaders and advocates for peace.

Program Highlights

• Welcome dinner hosted by Dr. Kjersti Fløgstad, Director of the Nobel Peace Center
• Personalized tour of the Nobel Peace Center led by Education Director Benik Egge
• Exclusive sessions on the elements of the Peace Prize curated by Dr. Henrik Syse, NCHC 2023 Plenary Speaker and former Vice Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee
• Guided visit to Utøya with host Jørgen Frydnes, NCHC24 Special Guest Speaker and current Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee
• Forums for institutional representatives to share progress on Partners in Peace programming
• Tours of key Oslo landmarks including City Hall, the Norwegian Nobel Institute, the Storting (Parliament), and the King's Palace Gardens
• Optional final night dinner cruise aboard The Nobel through the Oslo Fjord

Costs

Member Rate: $2,453

Non-Member Rate: $4,906

The rates listed above will cover:

• Program costs
• Four nights in the Hotel Bristol - Oslo City Center (includes breakfasts, two lunches and dinners)

The formal program will end with a luncheon on May 30th and participants can register for an elective dinner and Fjord tour on The Nobel.

Attendees are responsible for:

• Travel to Oslo (variable cost, prices depending on point of departure)
• Transportation to the Hotel Bristol (approx. $50 by cab)
• Meals and incidentals not covered by the congress

Participation Information and Application Deadline

Participation is strictly limited to 40 honors faculty and administrators.

To guarantee listed participation in the Congress program booklet, delegates must register no later than December 1, 2025. Presentation slots are scheduled for one per institution.
