Beginning in Honors

Beginning in Honors is a workshop designed for new honors directors and deans or those leading or creating new honors programs and colleges.

This workshop starts off in a large group, and then is broken down to small groups, focused upon specific institutional types -- large universities; medium-sized institutions; small public, private, and faith-based colleges; and two-year schools.

Exploratory Education Series

With NCHC21 taking place at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin--over 20 miles away from the downtown Orlando city center--the NCHC Place-As-Text Committee is reimagining the exploratory education component of the conference into a presentation series. The series will kick-off on Thursday October 28th with a keynote presentation by scientist and former NASA astronaut, Dr. Kathryn Thornton. The sessions to follow through the afternoon will focus on experiential pedagogy, and the importance of studying one's surroundings.

As part of a team, you will innovate new ways to inspire others to their own greatness.
