| Institutional Membership - Tiered Dues Structure |

Institutional Membership dues for United States-based institutions are calculated on a sliding scale based on the category of institution and its full time equivalent (FTE) undergraduate enrollment as reported by IPEDS. The following tiers and associated dues were established by a membership vote in 2018 and went into effect in 2020. Membership with NCHC operates on the calendar year and every membership, regardless of join date, expires on December 31.
Institutional dues for institutions located outside of The United States will be $700. Using the IPEDS Data Center to Determine your Institution's TierUse the IPEDS Data Center to look up your institution's FTE (Full-Time Equivalent Undergraduate Student Enrollment). From the homepage, follow the steps below to identify your undergraduate FTE:
Dues tiers will be established based on the most recent final release data as of May 15th of the previous year. Questions about your dues tier or cannot locate the appropriate IPEDS data? Tiered Dues Dispute ProcessIf you believe that your current tier level does not accurately reflect your college's information, you may submit a Tiers Dispute Form for review, here. Please fill out this form with as much detail as possible, including evidence to support your claim. The Tiers Dispute Form will be reviewed by NCHC Office. |
